We first crossed paths at a mutual friend's comedy show, where a lost debit card here, an instagram message there, and a project collaboration led to our first meeting over Brussels sprouts and beer. Since then, we've enjoyed navigating life together, filled with good food, great dogs, and plenty of laughs.
Why Germany?
We decided to get married in Germany for many reasons. Grace was born in Bonn where her parents were living at the time. Her Dad is German and hails from a long line of Dambiers, many of whom live in and around Heppenheim where the Dambier Family has deep roots going back generations. Dan has German lineage on both sides of his family tree and earned a bachelor's degree in European History. The fact that the town of Brühl is situated just a few miles from Bonn only sealed the deal (as did their mutual love of schnitzel and beer).
